Our kids' group ski lessons combine professional ski instruction with a dedicated area offering a wide variety of possibilities especially for children and beginners. From standing safely on skis for the first time to making their first turns, our ski instructors guide the children step by step.
Flat beginner areas, gentle slopes, rolling terrain, learning aids and a 30-metre magic carpet provide varied, child-friendly ski lessons.
GERBYLAND is located directly next to Hotel Alpenrose and features different types of terrain for children's first steps on skis, small exercises and plenty of winter fun.

Children learn particularly well when movement, variety and a sense of achievement come together. Our ski instructors can adapt GERBYLAND flexibly to create exactly this environment.
As soon as their progress allows, the children can leave GERBYLAND together with their ski instructor and continue developing their skills on the slopes of Kühtai.
GERBYLAND is about more than skiing. A variety of games and winter activities provide plenty of fun and variety – and of course Gerby drops by from time to time too.
The varied terrain is not only ideal for skiing, but also great fun with sledges and snow tubes.
Various equipment, figures and flexible learning aids turn exercises into fun little challenges.
Depending on the day and the situation, our Gerby regularly visits GERBYLAND and creates special moments for the children.
Comfortable for parents too: Seating is available in GERBYLAND. Hotel Alpenrose is also located directly next to the area.
For guests of the Gerberhotels, GERBYLAND is more than a children's ski area. With a valid Gerber Card, guests can also use the area free of charge independently of a booked kids' ski course.
When a GERBER SPORTS team member is on site, the magic carpet, sledges, snow tubes and various play equipment are also available free of charge, subject to availability.
Good to know: If no GERBER SPORTS team member is on site, the magic carpet, sledges, snow tubes and provided play equipment are not available. The freely accessible terrain can still be used, for example with your own sledge. During ski lessons, the lesson programme always takes priority. At busy times, free use may therefore be temporarily restricted. Our team members on site will coordinate this with guests according to the situation.
The group ski lessons are exclusively for children.
Depending on where you are staying, parents can meet us with their children at GERBER SPORTS in Hotel Mooshaus, Kühtai 40, or directly at GERBYLAND.
Ski equipment and lift passes are not included in the lesson price.
As soon as the children's ability and the group situation allow, they head out onto the slopes of Kühtai together with their ski instructor.
Guests of the Gerberhotels receive a 10% discount on kids' ski lessons with a valid Gerber Card.
Parents are of course welcome to watch at the beginning of the lesson and stay in GERBYLAND. In our experience, however, many children find it easier to settle into the lesson when, after saying goodbye, they can focus entirely on their group and ski instructor.
Our ski instructors assess each situation individually and support both parents and children in getting the ski lesson off to a good start.

Yes. Safe and uninterrupted ski lessons always take priority. At busy times, free use of individual areas or facilities may therefore be temporarily restricted.
